Product Information

Linen Friction Towels 650 gsm weight

They are woven using Linen for the pile (loops) and Cotton for the backing, giving a total fibre content of 70% Linen and 30% Cotton by weight.

These Friction Rub Towels are the ultimate in bathroom luxury. Woven in our own Mill to the highest standards, these heavyweight natural Linen towels are a must for any discerning bathroom. A high quality towel that is guaranteed to please, giving a fabulously invigorating rub down after your bath or shower. We are one of only a couple of mills worldwide producing these superior towels.

This is how towels were made before the advent of soft cottons.

Linen is the strongest, and one of the most absorbent and durable material for towels. Our Linen towels are woven in Lancashire on our own looms, this allows us to produce the ultimate in quality Luxury towels. Linen Towels promote good blood circulation and exfoliation of the skin with its unique invigorating rub. Initially abrasive to the touch these towels will soften after washing.

The Linen yarn used in these towels is completely natural, unbleached and undyed. Consequently there may be some slight shade variation in the colour, which is unavoidable and should not be considered a fault.

We recommend these towels are laundered separately three times before use.

Please note a charge of £5 for postage within the uk is charged to your first product only.

"These are really great towels, they are a bit rougher to the touch than cotton ones, and leave your skin feeling great. They look a bit odd at first being a natural product but wash wonderfully and last for years."
